We’re looking for an IT Infrastructure Analyst to support and maintain Affinity’s range of technology and applications that our employees rely on to serve each other and our members.

What you’ll do

  • Provide technical support for cloud-based infrastructure and services, including troubleshooting and resolving issues related to cloud resources such as virtual machines, networking, storage, databases, and applications.
  • Maintain enterprise Microsoft platforms (Windows Server, Azure) and services such as Active Directory, Hyper-V, DNS, DHCP, Remote Desktop Services.
  • Assist in the deployment, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of cloud resources and services, ensuring system reliability and availability.
  • Maintain comprehensive technical documentation on cloud configurations, issues, resolutions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent support and operational efficiency.
  • Provide comprehensive technical support for cloud-based infrastructure and services and have expertise for complex, escalated technical support issues; identify, troubleshoot, and solve problems for end-users.
  • Assist with monitoring cloud security settings, including user access, roles, and permissions, and collaborate with security teams to address potential vulnerabilities.

What you’ve got

  • Post-secondary education in a related field and 3 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Intermediate understanding of Affinity Credit Union’s business objectives and divisional operations.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor or similar services to detect, log, and resolve issues. Cloud certifications such as Microsoft Certified: AZ-900, AZ-104, MS-900, SC-900 would be an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of scripting and automation tools such as PowerShell/Azure CLI to automate troubleshooting tasks and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Ability to conduct leading practice research to discover, analyze, and recommend innovative processes.
  • Ability to lead a project through its lifecycle, liaising effectively with key stakeholders.
