We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Database Administrator with 1–3 years of experience to join our growing IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining both relational and NoSQL database systems, ensuring optimal performance, high availability, and data integrity. You will work closely with application developers, system administrators, and business analysts to support business-critical applications and data processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop, debug, and optimize Transact-SQL (T-SQL) scripts for database operations.
• Perform database troubleshooting and performance tuning to ensure efficient query execution and system performance.
• Administer and manage Windows Server 2016 environments related to database systems.
• Maintain and support RDBMS such as Microsoft SQL Server, including installation, configuration, backup, and recovery.
• Implement and manage NoSQL databases, particularly MongoDB, ensuring availability and reliability.
• Design, implement, and maintain High Availability (HA) solutions on SQL Server such as Always On Availability Groups or Failover Clustering.
• Support and optimize Data Warehousing and OLAP solutions to enable business intelligence and reporting capabilities.
• Monitor database performance, space utilization, and security measures.
• Document database systems and procedures for ongoing operations and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of hands-on experience as a Database Administrator or in a similar role.
• Proficient in Transact-SQL (T-SQL) scripting and stored procedures.
• Solid knowledge of SQL Server performance tuning and troubleshooting techniques.
• Experience with Windows Server 2016 administration.
• Familiarity with relational database management systems (RDBMS), especially Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience working with NoSQL databases, specifically MongoDB.
• Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and disaster recovery configurations on SQL Server.
• Understanding of Data Warehousing concepts and OLAP structures and tools (e.g., SSAS, Power BI, etc.).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
