Job summary

Seaboard Transport Group invites applications for an IT Data Developer - Student in Dartmouth, NS. This in‑office role runs Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, from January 2027 to April 2027, offering hands‑on experience in data engineering, analytics, BI development and governance with guidance from the Manager, Data & Integration.

You will build pipelines, collaborate with stakeholders on reporting needs, and contribute to dashboard development and data quality efforts while gaining exposure to AI

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a post-secondary program in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Software Engineering or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and learn quickly.
• Experience with SQL.
• Familiarity with Python Spark Power BI or AI tools is considered an asset.
