Canadian Tire Corporation is looking for a curious, driven Business Analyst Student to join their team in Mississauga, Ontario for a 12-month co-op placement starting Winter Term 2027. This is a full-time student opportunity with one of Canada's most recognized retail and corporate brands - a chance to work hands-on with real data, real systems, and real business impact.
This role sits at the intersection of data engineering, business analysis, and ecommerce supply chain strategy. You'll be embedded in a collaborative team environment where you'll contribute to meaningful initiatives rather than shadow from the sidelines. If you're the kind of student who thrives on solving complex data problems and communicating findings to stakeholders, this placement is worth a close look.
Day-to-day, you'll be working across data migration projects, integration pipelines, and reporting and visualization platforms. You'll connect with diverse data sources - from SQL Server and Oracle to Snowflake and enterprise data warehouses - while helping build analytics-ready models that power decision-making across the business. Alongside the technical work, you'll engage directly with stakeholders from ecommerce and supply chain teams as a liaison and change agent.
You'll apply Agile Project Management methodology to lead analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation of key initiatives. Adhering to deadlines, maintaining process documentation, and supporting RFX processes are all part of the scope. Canadian Tire expects students to take ownership, contribute to business reviews, and bring fresh thinking to the table.
The hourly wage for this student role ranges from $23.00 to $30.00 CAD, with a broadband range extending to $37.00 depending on experience, skills, and other factors. Beyond the competitive pay, Canadian Tire offers store discounts, access to the Triangle Learning Academy for supported learning, and a workplace culture that genuinely invests in student development through mentorship, goal-setting, and ongoing relationship building.
