Johnson Electric is seeking an IT Co‑op student for an onsite role in Ancaster, ON. You will handle first‑level IT support, PC setup, and user assistance while traveling occasionally to Mississauga or Stratford for project needs.

You’ll join a global company with mentorship opportunities, innovation hubs, and diverse projects across industries. This is a full‑time, co‑op term position designed for a student pursuing a Computer Science or related degree.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 yr of experience in automotive manufacturing.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for customer support.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level IT support for hardware, software, and applications.
• Set up, install, and configure PCs for corporate members.
• Maintain hardware/software inventory and security practices.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and guides.
• Collaborate with IT teams on project implementations and issue resolution.
