Job description

Peak Performance Products is a growing Canadian distribution company operating in the health, wellness, grocery, nutritional supplements, and promotional products industries.

Our business relies heavily on technology across ERP, WMS, CRM, eCommerce, EDI, warehouse operations, sales, finance, and reporting. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an IT Manager who can strengthen our systems, improve business processes, and help our teams get more value from technology.

The Role

This is a hands-on IT and business systems leadership role. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management and continuous improvement of our ERP and other core business systems, while also overseeing IT operations, security, vendors, and technology projects.

We are looking for someone who understands both technology and business operations — someone who can work with Finance, Sales, Warehouse, Procurement, and Customer Service to identify problems, improve workflows, and implement practical solutions.

The ideal candidate has experience working with an ERP such as NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, or a similar platform. NetSuite experience is a strong asset.

  • Work with external consultants and developers on customizations and technical issues.
  • Identify system and process gaps and recommend practical solutions.
Distribution & Operations
  • Partner with Warehouse, Operations, Sales, Procurement, and Customer Service to improve system-supported processes.
  • Help improve inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, purchasing, and operational reporting.
  • Understand how orders move from sales through inventory, picking, shipping, and invoicing.
  • Troubleshoot issues that impact day-to-day business operations.
IT Operations & Security
  • Oversee the company's day-to-day IT environment, including hardware, software, networks, cloud systems, and user access.
  • Maintain appropriate cybersecurity, access control, backup, and data protection practices.
  • Monitor and coordinate resolution of IT and security issues with internal teams and external providers.
  • Support business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
  • Establish and maintain practical IT policies, procedures, and SOPs.
  • Manage technology projects from requirements through implementation and rollout.
  • Manage relationships with IT vendors, ERP consultants, software providers, and other technology partners.
  • Evaluate technology solutions and make recommendations based on business needs and cost.
  • Help manage IT budgets, licensing, renewals, and technology investments.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency through better systems and processes.
  • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive processes and reduce manual work.
  • Explore practical applications of AI and automation across areas such as order entry, customer service, finance, reporting, and administration.
  • Research and implement new technologies that provide measurable business value.
  • Promote continuous improvement and better adoption of existing systems.
