Job description

Salary Range: $90,000.00 To $120,000.00 Annually

We are MAKRs – Our common goal, our passion, is to create global communities connected through play and social experiences. The MAKR Group is comprised of three brands: Waterplay, a global splash pad provider; Parkworks, a Western Canadian park space supplier; and Wekid Mfg., Canada’s most playfully professional steel manufacturing team.

With tens of thousands of play and park space installations worldwide, we’ve helped millions of people of all ages and abilities access fun, inviting, and “go-backable” recreation spaces. What makes us jump out of bed every morning is knowing we’re integral to creating these meaningful places, and we need people like you to help us build them!

You’re a strategic technology partner who thrives at the intersection of business and systems! You have a passion for solving complex challenges, uncovering opportunities, and turning business needs into scalable solutions that improve processes, enable smarter decisions, and deliver measurable value.

You’re a trusted collaborator who connects people, processes, and technology. With strong communication skills and a proactive approach, you build alignment across technical and non-technical teams, lead initiatives from discovery through implementation, and drive meaningful change and continuous improvement.

You’re driven by the potential of enterprise technology to transform the way organizations operate. Through strong data practices, automation, innovation, and emerging technologies like AI, you identify opportunities to improve efficiency, enhance user experiences, and support long-term business success.

We’re looking for a hands‑on Senior Business Systems Analyst to lead the evolution of our enterprise applications, including NetSuite Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and Human Resources Information System (HRIS) platforms.

Reporting to the Director of Information Systems & Technology (IS&T), you’ll partner with teams across the organization to optimize processes, strengthen data integrity, and deliver scalable technology solutions that support business growth.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex business challenges, leading ERP initiatives, and connecting technology capabilities with real‑world business needs.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead ERP and CRM implementation projects, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives from discovery through successful delivery.
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate requirements into system configurations, workflows, integrations, and user-focused solutions.
  • Define business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and success measures to support effective system development and adoption.
  • Evaluate solutions and recommend practical approaches by balancing business value, technical feasibility, cost, risk, and timelines.
  • Optimize business processes across Finance, Manufacturing, Inventory, Supply Chain, Sales, and Customer Service using NetSuite and related technologies.
  • Lead change management activities, including stakeholder engagement, communication plans, training, and user adoption strategies.
  • Coordinate internal teams, external vendors, and technical resources to successfully deliver projects and enhancements.
  • Provide guidance on ERP best practices, system capabilities, integrations, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Champion data governance and integrity to ensure enterprise systems provide accurate, reliable, and actionable information.
  • Stay current with NetSuite releases, SuiteCloud capabilities, SuiteApps, AI solutions, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation.

  • 3+ years of hands‑on experience implementing, administering, and supporting ERP systems, with NetSuite ERP and CRM experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience leading or supporting ERP implementations across multiple departments and teams.
  • Strong business analysis skills with experience gathering requirements, facilitating workshops, documenting business processes, and translating needs into technical solutions.
  • Experience integrating third‑party applications and collaborating with vendors, technical teams, and business stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills with experience managing scope, priorities, timelines, risks, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship‑building skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
  • Experience using AI tools to improve business productivity, automation, and IS&T processes.
  • Oracle NetSuite Foundation certification (or similar ERP certification) is considered an asset.
  • Familiarity or direct experience with NetSuite SuiteScript, Microsoft Power Automate, Azure services and Azure AI (e.g., identity, data services, AI Foundry) as they relate to enterprise application integration, security, and AI enablement.
