Job summary

McGill Executive Institute is seeking a part-time Website & Communications Assistant to manage website content, data tracking, administration, reporting, and marketing operations.

You will update pages, create new ones, test links, manage assets, and support CRM updates. Proficient Excel and basic HTML editing with Dreamweaver is required.

This 20-hour-per-week role runs Sep 14, 2026 through Mar 31, 2027, and offers the chance to contribute to campaigns and information sessions.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Minimum 2 years of related experience.
  • Experience with HTML coding and Dreamweaver is required.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Update and maintain website content across pages.
  • Create new webpages using templates.
  • Edit pages as needed; archive outdated content.
  • Test links and troubleshoot content issues.
  • Share unpublished page links with stakeholders for approvals.
  • Upload documents, images, and multimedia assets.
  • Monitor content accuracy and consistency.
  • Data tracking and reporting; maintain marketing/recruitment spreadsheets.
  • Administrative support and CRM updates.

Job description

Hiring Unit: McGill Executive Institute Position Summary: Focus: Website management, data tracking, administration, reporting, and marketing operations.

Responsibilities
  • Update website content, including: Information session pages Program pages Registration deadlines Faculty and staff bios, content etc
  • Create new webpages using established templates
  • Potentially edit WMS pages (Lifelong Learning page & Desautels – MEI page)
  • Archive or remove outdated website content
  • Test links and troubleshoot minor content issues
  • Share unpublished page links with stakeholders for purchase
  • Upload documents, images, and multimedia assets to the website
  • Monitor website content accuracy and consistency
  • Data & Reporting
  • Maintain marketing and recruitment tracking spreadsheets (E-commerce totals, FOAPAL, velocity reports)
  • Compile campaign performance data
  • Administrative Support
  • Create digital vouchers or promo codes when required
  • Support information session pre and post reminders
  • Create info session Zoom links
  • Manage shared folders and document repositories
  • Assist with CRM updates and list management
Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel
  • Experience with HTML coding and platforms such as Dreamweaver
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to manage repetitive tasks accurately
Minimum Education and Experience

Hourly Salary: (AMUSE C) $19.00

Estimated Number of Work Hours per Week: 20 (Part time)
