Job summary

SGGG Fund Services Inc. in Toronto seeks a Technical & Hardware Support Analyst co-op to join our IT team. You will manage IT assets, track lifecycles, and support end-user hardware in a fast-paced environment.

Reporting to the Team Lead, this on-site role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and familiarity with Windows systems, AD, and asset management processes. Eight-month term, full-time.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an eligible post-secondary co‑op program and available for an 8-month consecutive work term.
• 1-3 years of technical support experience in the Microsoft technology stack (Windows 10, Windows 11, Active Directory).
• 1-3 years of hardware support and inventory management experience.
• Preference for experience in a Microsoft server and Cisco switch/firewall environment.

Responsibilities

• Asset identification: Maintain inventory of IT assets (new, existing, disposed).
• IT Equipment delivery and retrieval: Deliver and retrieve IT equipment for new and departed users.
• IT Asset Tracking: Use asset tools to monitor assets, maintain warranties, licenses and SLAs.
• Maintenance: Maintain assets through lifecycle, log activities for performance assessment.
• Resolve tickets and incidents; implement user MACD within expected timeframe.
• Install/uninstall servers, PCs, network equipment, phones and other hardware.
• Lift/move heavy hardware (50 lbs+) and work in server/storage rooms and confined spaces.
• Promote cybersecurity policies and assist in Disaster Recovery readiness.
