Mission Public School District is seeking an Inclusive Support Program (ISP) Teacher at Albert McMahon Elementary for a temporary, 1.0 FTE position serving K-6 students.

The ISP teacher will act as case manager for students with ministry designations, writing IEPs, coordinating services with classroom teachers, and providing direct and indirect instruction to meet behavioural, social, and educational goals, with emphasis on inclusion and transfer of goals to the larger class.

Competenze

• Bachelor of Education and/or PDP required.
• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Inclusive Education or post-graduate diploma in Inclusive Education.
• Experience with diverse cognitive, behavioural, social and emotional needs including complex development and behaviour disorders.
• Knowledge of learner characteristics with CDBC, ASD, FASD, and other developmental disabilities.
• Experience developing programs with strategies for neurodiverse learners.
• Training in Level A/B assessment and POPARD knowledge is an asset.
• Knowledge of First People’s Principles of Learning and equity in schools.
