St. Patrick Regional Secondary in Vancouver is seeking a full-time Educational Assistant to support students with IEPs and inclusive learning plans for the 2026–2027 school year.

You will collaborate with lead teachers and families, implement assistive technology, and assist with personal care and mobility while upholding Catholic values and a positive classroom culture.

Qualifications

• Educational Assistant Diploma or credential with knowledge of IEP implementation and inclusive learning strategies.
• Commitment to faith-based values and positive role modelling in a Catholic school.
• Proficiency in interpreting non-verbal cues and using assistive communication tools.
• Ability to collaborate with lead teachers, families, and multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored curriculum adaptations and academic support per IEPs and Learning Support Services.
• Apply positive behavior strategies to support social-emotional development and safety.
• Assist with personal care and mobility needs as required for learners.
• Prepare learning materials and supervise learners during instruction and transitions.
