iA Financial Group is seeking an Information Security Advisor in Montreal to support IT delivery teams and business partners in secure technology delivery while managing risk. You will influence security practices across the organization and work with cross‑functional teams to strengthen controls.

The role requires a minimum of 7 years in information security, risk management, or related fields, plus a Bachelor’s degree and relevant certifications.

• Holds a bachelor's degree in information technology, information security, data science, or an equivalent field
• Has strong knowledge of information security frameworks, principles, and practices
• Holds a CISSP, CCSP, or CRISC certification, considered an asset
• Demonstrates flexibility, comfort with ambiguity, and a commitment to continuous learning
• Has strong relationship-building skills with vendors and external partners
• Has experience with or an interest in using artificial intelligence tools (e.g., Copilot, Generative AI) to support analysis, writing, or process optimization, considered an asset
• Has knowledge of the insurance and financial services industry, considered an asset
• Has an advanced level of proficiency in both French and English, as the incumbent will be required to communicate daily with English-speaking vendors across Canada through emails and phone calls
