iA Financial Group in Montreal seeks an Information Security Advisor to support IT delivery teams and business partners in secure technology delivery while managing risks. You will advise on security requirements, assess risks, and develop pragmatic recommendations.

We value 7+ years in information security or risk, knowledge of security frameworks, and certifications as assets. A bilingual English/French capability is essential for daily vendor interactions across Canada.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, information security, data science, or equivalent field.
• 7+ years of relevant information security, technology, or risk management experience.
• Strong knowledge of information security frameworks and practices.
• Certifications such as CISSP/CCSP/CRISC are assets.
• Interest in using AI tools to support analysis or process optimization is an asset.
• French and English fluency required for daily communication with vendors across Canada.

• Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of the organization's cybersecurity posture and the maturity of its teams;

• Holds a CISSP, CCSP, or CRISC certification, considered an asset;
• Demonstrates flexibility, comfort with ambiguity, and a commitment to continuous learning;
• Has strong relationship-building skills with vendors and external partners;
• Has experience with or an interest in using artificial intelligence tools (e.g., Copilot, Generative AI) to support analysis, writing, or process optimization, considered an asset;
• Has knowledge of the insurance and financial services industry, considered an asset;
• Has an advanced level of proficiency in both French and English, as the incumbent will be required to communicate daily with English-speaking vendors across Canada through emails and phone calls.

The typical hiring range for this position is between $80,000 and $110,000 CAD per year; the base salary offered may vary depending on knowledge, skills, years of experience, and internal equity related to the role.
