Job summary

Ledcor Construction, Inc. in Fort McMurray, Alberta, is hiring a Foreman to execute shutdowns and turnarounds, lead Journeyperson and Apprentice Ironworkers, and oversee maintenance planning.

You will coordinate safety, schedules, and documentation for time-sensitive projects in oil & gas and heavy industrial environments. The role requires 3–5 years foreman experience, a Journeyperson Ironworker certification, and a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Qualifications

  • Registered Journeyperson Ironworker certification is required.
  • 3-5 years foreman experience is required.
  • Proven experience in shutdowns, turnarounds, or outage maintenance in oil & gas or heavy industrial environments is required.
  • Experience on time-sensitive, schedule-driven projects with shifting priorities.
  • Ability to work 10-12+ hour shifts, overtime, and consecutive days during shutdowns.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and procedural compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Execute shutdown and turnaround rigging scopes.

  • Trains, supports, and offers guidance to new employees.
  • Inspects work fronts regularly and ensures schedules are followed.

  • Coordinate and communicates with the other Foreman and Supervision to ensure the correct sequencing of operations
  • Trains, supports, and offers guidance to new employees
  • Inspects work fronts regularly and ensures schedules are followed
