W3Global's Intellectual Property Group in Montreal seeks a lawyer to join its technology transactions and IP practice. You will draft and negotiate licence, R&D, collaboration, co-development and technology transfer agreements and advise clients on strategies to protect and commercialize IP assets.

You will conduct IP audits, provide transactional support and due diligence for corporate transactions, and act as a strategic advisor to clients.

Qualificações

Bachelor's degree in civil law and Bar of Québec in good standing.
3–6 years of experience in technology transactions and IP.
Strong drafting and negotiation of complex IP/tech agreements; strategic advisor.

Responsabilidades

Draft and negotiate licence, R&D, collaboration, co-development and technology transfer agreements.
Advise clients on strategies to use, protect, enhance and commercialize IP assets.
Conduct intellectual property audits.
Provide transactional support and due diligence in corporate transactions, financings, mergers and acquisitions.
Act as a strategic advisor to clients and contribute to IP protection and management.
Contribute to client development and to the firm’s profile.
