Job summary

Canada Life, a leading life and health insurer, is seeking an Investment Specialist to process investment transactions and trades with accuracy. The role supports advisors, handles application scrubs, and ensures data integrity across WealthServ and carrier portals.

Based in Winnipeg, you’ll work in a dynamic team and contribute to timely, compliant processing while collaborating with back-office systems. Competitive salary and benefits accompany this position.

Qualifications

• Specialized knowledge of investment products, particularly Segregated Funds.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in the insurance and financial services industry.
• Proven experience with Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of WealthServ is an asset.
• Completion of Post-Secondary School, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Scrub investment applications to meet SLAs.
• Communicate with advisors to obtain missing information or signatures.
• Enter applications into the WealthServ system.
• Assist with LOI mitigation per process requirements.
• Email wire order confirmations for submissions.
• Complete transactions and trades in WealthServ.
• Perform transfer follow-ups and keep WealthServ updated.
