Job summary

Mackenzie Investments is seeking an Intern Analyst for its Resource team in the Investment Management - Resources department for the summer term 2027 (May - August). This is a full-time position requiring 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, and candidates must be eligible to work for the entire duration of the program.

Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Portfolio Manager and Head of Team Resources, the ideal candidates are passionate about economics, environment and sustainability,

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a master’s degree in science, Business, Economics or Renewable Energy studies.
• Completed a bachelor’s degree in science (Health Sciences, Math and Statistics, Earth & Science, Geology, Psychology, Agriculture Sciences, Physics, Chemistry, Engineering, Economics, or Energy studies)
• Passion for energy transition.
• Basic understanding of financial markets.
• Functional knowledge of MS Office.
• Ability to work collaboratively.
• Bilingual (French & English) is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Establish measurement standards (quantitative and qualitative) of sustainable development for our natural resources’ investment universe.
• Research and document investment thematic projects
• Review business processes to identify opportunities for improvement, including leveraging AI
