Job summary

Connor, Clark & Lunn Financial Group Ltd. is seeking an Analyst, Business Process Engineering for its Investment Data Architecture (IDArch) team. The role focuses on end-to-end process design, data governance and improving data timeliness and quality across security, pricing and reference data.

It operates within a hybrid in-office/remote setup. You will document current-state processes, partner with investment teams to translate needs into requirements, and drive automation with IT.

Qualifications

• Degree in business, finance, information systems or related analytical field.
• 3+ years in process improvement, business analysis, or investment data management.
• Experience with asset management or financial services is a plus.
• Familiarity with security, pricing or reference data processes is a plus.
• Strong systems thinking and ability to break down complex processes.

Responsibilities

• Document end-to-end investment data processes, inputs, systems, hand-offs, controls and downstream uses.
• Collaborate with investment teams to translate data needs into process requirements.
• Identify opportunities to simplify processes and reduce manual steps.
• Partner with tech to automate workflows and support testing of changes.
• Assess process risks and implement appropriate controls.
• Produce process artifacts like maps, RACIs, procedures and runbooks.
• Define and track metrics to measure improvement and support data service levels.
• Work with subject-matter experts to roll out new processes.
• Support data projects including platform transitions and onboarding.
