Job summary

Connor, Clark & Lunn Financial Group Ltd. in Toronto is seeking an Intern to join the Investment Analytics Engineering team. You will support analytics discovery and platform modernization while applying your finance and data science knowledge.

The role offers exposure to investment analytics across performance, attribution, risk, and modeling, with a hybrid work arrangement and a base salary in the 55k–65k CAD range plus a performance bonus.

Qualifications

• Pursuing bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, or related quantitative field.
• Interest in asset management and investment analytics
• Familiarity with Python, R, SQL, or PowerBI is an asset

Responsibilities

• Support analytics discovery and platform modernization efforts.
• Collaborate with project leads to develop scalable investment analytics (performance, attribution, risk, modeling).
• Assist with data engineering tasks to strengthen data pipelines.
• Propose and apply AI where it adds value in modelling and anomaly detection.
