Responsibilities

• Investigate and enforce compliance with consumer protection legislation.
• Gather, secure, and preserve evidence.
• Interview complainants, witnesses, and respondents.
• Research legislation and assist with search warrants and orders.
• Recommend enforcement actions such as warnings or orders.
• Prepare court documents and testify when needed.
• Liaise with law enforcement and Crown Prosecutors.
