The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) seeks an investigator to evaluate complaints about physicians and surgeons across Ontario. This 18‑month contract role involves reviewing records, conducting interviews, drafting investigative reports, and presenting findings to committees.
Hybrid work with in‑office attendance one day per week; occasional travel within Ontario is required. The CPSO is committed to equity and inclusion in its recruitment and governance processes.

You will investigate and/or resolve complaints with respect to the practice, conduct or capacity of physicians and surgeons in Ontario. As part of the investigative process, you will identify, obtain and analyze relevant information and documents, including hospital and office records, reports, statements, and transcripts. You will conduct interviews and take statements from parties and witnesses and explain College policies to all parties as required. Adaptability, flexibility and being comfortable working in a high-volume work environment will be invaluable to you in this role. You are a solid team player.
You will maintain communication with relevant parties and legal counsel throughout the investigative process and assess complaints for resolution when appropriate delivering investigative reports both verbally and in writing to committees and colleagues.
This is an 18-month contract position.

Starting salary $110,675
