Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, filters)
• 2+ years in inventory, supply chain, or operations support
• Strong analytical skills with a proactive mindset
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Clear, professional communication across departments
• Comfortable presenting data insights to stakeholders
• Experience supporting ERP systems (Oracle a strong asset)

• Participate in weekly health calls to address inventory issues and scrap requests
• Support inventory accuracy through backorder reviews, Oracle cycle counts, and training

Position Description

The Inventory Specialist supports the Ontario Service Hub by monitoring the availability of parts, optimizing inventory levels, and reducing hold for parts (HFP) due to missing components. This role plays a key part in improving repair turnaround times through effective inventory management, data-driven analysis, and cross-functional collaboration. The Inventory Specialist will work closely with both Canadian and U.S. service teams to monitor part health, manage stock levels, and maintain accurate min/max settings to ensure service efficiency and operational continuity.

What You Will Do

• Monitor open service orders and proactively identify opportunities to complete repairs using available in-house inventory
• Coordinate sourcing of parts, prioritize aging repairs, and oversee “Share the Spare” part requests across Canadian and U.S. locations.
• Leverage Power BI scorecard data and usage trends to reduce tool holds and enable single-touch repairs
• Perform regular reviews of min/max settings and lead deep dives into obsolete or discontinued SKUs to support scrap optimization and reduce dead stock.
• Maintain strong working relationships with U.S. Product Service teams to stay informed of SKU transitions
• Participate in weekly health calls to address Canadian inventory issues, and action scrap requests as needed
• Support inventory accuracy through backorder reviews, participation in Oracle cycle counts, and training on inventory procedures and best practices.

What You Will Bring
