Job summary

Interpro Pipe & Steel Inc. in Edmonton, Alberta is seeking an Inventory and Materials Specialist to manage inventory accuracy across the main warehouse and satellite locations.

You will perform cycle counts, record transactions in Oracle, and coordinate inbound/outbound movements to prevent disruptions. You will analyze stock levels, generate reports, and collaborate with procurement to resolve shortages, returns, and cross-border shipping requirements while maintaining safe storage and data

Qualifications

• Post-secondary diploma or certificate in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field (or progress toward certs).
• 3–5 years of experience in inventory control, materials management, or related functions.
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred) and Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy; ability to trace discrepancies to root cause.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accuracy, reliability, and control of inventory across main warehouse and satellite locations.
• Perform cycle counts and reconcile inventory variances; maintain records and locations.
• Process inventory transactions in Oracle; issue materials against work orders and monitor stock.
• Coordinate repairs, rebuilds, warranties, returns, and vendor follow-ups.
• Prepare inventory reports; analyze stock levels, variances, and trends; provide findings to manager.
• Receive and inspect materials against POs and packing slips; resolve shortages, overages, damages.
• Coordinate outbound shipments; prepare shipping documents; comply with cross-border shipping and dangerous goods requirements.
• Improve inventory and warehouse processes; maintain work instructions; ensure safe, clean storage.
