Job summary

Wesco is seeking an Associate Analyst - Inventory to analyze inventory performance and help execute strategies that optimize service levels. You will run scheduled reports, verify data quality, and support ad-hoc analyses to drive improvements across the distribution network.

The role emphasizes strong Excel skills, SQL familiarity, and the ability to communicate analytical results clearly in PowerPoint and Word. A background in supply chain and inventory concepts is valued.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor-level or equivalent experience preferred and ability to follow established processes.
  • 4-year degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and validate report results independently.
  • Strong Excel proficiency including macros and data formatting.

Responsibilities

  • Generate accurate daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
  • Reconcile data to ensure integrity of reports.
  • Audit data for errors before release.
  • Maintain and back up report databases and access controls.
  • Modify SQL queries and Excel macros to update production reports.
  • Perform on-demand reporting and data formatting.
  • Assist in ad-hoc report development and data interpretation.
  • Summarize findings in PowerPoint or Word for projects.
