Job summary

Dollarama is seeking a finance/inventory analyst to build analytical models and an inventory database, supporting decision making and KPIs such as turnover, margins, and aging. You will analyze shrinkage, prepare monthly/quarterly financial analyses, and develop Power BI dashboards to reveal inventory performance by SKU, store, and region.

You will validate data during system changes, work with cross-functional teams, and help optimize inventory controls and forecasting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
• 5+ years in a similar financial analysis role with exposure to inventory, forecasting, and margin/cost analysis.
• Experience working with a large ERP system (SAP strongly preferred).
• Advanced analytical capabilities, including Excel (Advanced) and Power BI or similar visualization tools.
• Strong ability to manage and interpret large, complex datasets.

Responsibilities

• Develop optimized analysis models to support decision-making and inventory tracking.
• Perform in-depth analysis of inventory shrinkage across store type, region, departments, and product categories.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial analyses and presentations.
• Provide insight into inventory forecast factors (levels, margins, cost drivers).
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards for inventory metrics at SKU/store/region levels.
• Support system implementations by validating inventory data and reporting outputs.
• Lead transition and optimization of inventory reporting into Power BI with testing and documentation.
• Collaborate with Replenishment, Accounting, FP&A, and Operations to align initiatives.
