Job summary

Western Veterinary Specialists and Emergency Centre in Calgary, AB is seeking a Hospital Inventory Coordinator to manage stock ordering, receiving, and supplier relations in a 24-hour specialty hospital. You will coordinate VIP markets, process client and staff orders, and monitor stock levels across the pharmacy and stockroom.

• Update the team weekly with back-order products.
• Check for expired products in the pharmacy & stockroom.
• Expired product returns.

Responsibilities

• Manage stock ordering and receiving from suppliers.
• Handle special orders for in-hospital products.
• Process client orders and communications related to inventory.
• Verify VIP Markets and authorize transactions.
• Invoice staff orders and ensure accuracy.
• Provide weekly updates on back-orders to the team.
• Audit stockroom and pharmacy for expired products.
• Process returns of expired products.

Veterinary Hospital Inventory Coordinator

Location: Calgary, AB

Western Veterinary Specialists and Emergency Centre

is looking for a hospital inventory coordinator. We are a 24 hours state of the art facility with specialty services such as Critical Care, Radiology, Surgery, Radiation, Medical Oncology and Internal Medicine.

The inventory coordinator will work closely with our entire hospital, as well as be the face of Western to our suppliers and outside brand representatives. The following list entails the duties and responsibilities of our inventory coordinator.

• Ordering and receiving stock/orders from our various suppliers
• Special Ordering for in-hospital products (new/different items)
• Client orders and communications
• Check and authorize VIP Markets
• Invoice staff orders
• Update the team weekly with back-order products, etc.
• Check for expired products in the pharmacy & stockroom
• Expired product returns
