Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in Calgary, AB is seeking a Seasonal Inventory Control Specialist to safeguard inventory integrity through cycle counts of both sales floor and backroom stock. You will investigate variances, create reports, and adjust stock as needed while assisting customers on the shop floor during open hours.

The role reports to the Retail Manager - Operations and offers a supportive, outdoor-lifestyle retail environment.

Qualifications

• Retail experience in warehouse/inventory management.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong computer skills including Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Detail-oriented with good judgment and logic.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cycle counts on sales floor and backroom stock.
• Research and process inventory adjustments in various systems.
• Investigate negative on-hand reports and discrepancies.
• Support replenishment and min/max setting on the floor.
• Assist customers on the sales floor during open hours.

## Inventory Control Specialist - SeasonalApply: Calgary, AB: Part time: Posted Today: End Date: October 30, 2026 (29 days left to apply): R269053**Summary:**Reporting to the Retail Manager - Operations, the Inventory Control Outfitter is responsible for ensuring inventory integrity in the retail location. This is done through cycle counting both sales floor stock and backroom stock, as well as investigating variances to find root causes and adjusting inventory when necessary.
