Job summary

Sobeys is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Associate in Winnipeg to support day-to-day operations. You will release orders from EXE, prepare load sheets, and create bills of lading while working closely with Dispatch and Logistics to ensure on-time deliveries.

The role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and adherence to safety standards, with shifts including evenings and weekends. Prior experience in warehouse operations is a plus.

Qualifications

• Post secondary Diploma or Equivalent Work Experience.
• Experience in shipping, dispatch, logistics or warehouse operations is a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and SAP/EXE familiarity is an asset.
• Strong time management, organization and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and work in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and release all scheduled orders out of EXE for selection.
• Prepare and amalgamate load sheets.
• Respond to Customer Service inquiries on order releases in a timely manner.
