Techtronic Industries in Georgina, ON is seeking an Inventory Control Manager to lead inventory management in a high-SKU environment. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will drive accuracy, efficiency, and cost control through lean practices and cross-functional collaboration.

You will develop policies, coach teams, set performance expectations, and partner with stakeholders to implement best practices across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business-related field or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years in distribution, manufacturing, or service industries.
• Experience leading inventory control in a high-SKU environment.
• Lean manufacturing/continuous improvement understanding; Six Sigma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage inventory control processes, including cycle counting and physical inventory.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve inventory accuracy and reduce costs.
• Analyze inventory data to identify and report possible excess and obsolete inventory.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align inventory practices with lean principles.
• Design and enhance policies, procedures, and infrastructure for inventory best practices.
• Establish performance expectations for team members and conduct appraisals.
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to staff.
• Communicate merit increases and performance feedback effectively.
• Act as a leader in inventory-related initiatives across the organization.
