Job summary

Reliance Home Comfort in Durham/Oshawa area is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk to safeguard warehouse stock and support field operations. You will enter all movements into the inventory system, prepare purchase orders, and coordinate with managers for timely procurement and distribution.

Responsibilities

• Protect warehouse inventory and maintain 0 loss in system and physical stock.
• Maintain adequate inventory levels to support field sales and operations.
• Coordinate with managers for timely procurement and channelized distribution of inventory.
• Monitor and optimize the inventory turnover ratio.
• Oversee staging of daily equipment for installations and loading/unloading of inventory.
• Enter all inventory movements into the inventory tracking program.

What will you do?

• Learn and grow as an important part of a team that cares about Reliance and its customers.
• Protection of warehouse inventory, both physical and in system, leading to a goal of $0 inventory loss
• Maintain adequate inventory levels at all times to ensure field sales and operations needs
• Coordinating with managers for the timely procurement and channelized distribution of inventory
• Monitoring and optimizing the inventory turnover ratio
• Staging or overseeing the staging of daily equipment for installations
• Overseeing or carrying out the Loading and unloading of inventory
• Ensure all inventory information is entered into inventory tracking program
• Compile and complete purchase orders for new inventory
• Ensure scanning of all inventory both into, and out of, the warehouse
• Act as contact person for inbound warehouse requests from external departments
• Offer timely follow up and resolution to customers, contractors, and external departments inquires
• Perform Physical inventory and Cycle counts and reconcile to systems
• Provide reporting as required

• Must have a valid class G driver's license
