Johnson Controls’ division Silent-Aire is seeking an Inventory Analyst to compile and maintain records of stock, post totals in the ERP system, and ensure accurate inventory levels. You will support outgoing shipments and incoming items, contributing to smooth operations across Operations, Production and Shipping & Receiving.

The Inventory Analyst compiles and maintains records of quantity, type, and value of material, equipment or supplies stocked. Count material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock and post totals to inventory records, manually or using the ERP (Sage) system. Ensures seamless processing of outgoing shipments and incoming items, as well as making transactional computer entries to keep the inventory system accurate.
Execute the Materials process and maintain adequate records for reporting and tracking. Collaborate with Operations and Production personnel to ensure inventory is accurate and complete. Coordinate the Annual Inventory Count and the Daily Cycle Count. Investigate any stock discrepancies, provide the root cause of the discrepancy, and implement appropriate corrective action. Identify and report on recurring issues that drive inventory discrepancies and recommend and implement corrective actions to avoid recurrence of the same. Investigate receiving discrepancies with the Receiving and the Purchasing groups and make suggestions for process improvement. Problem solve for any cases of missing deliveries, shipment, and documents. Identify, record, and process defective (NCR) inventory. Review the OE Back Order report on a weekly basis, investigate B/Os for closed jobs with the Pickers and release outstanding materials as required. Investigate WIP variances and implement corrective actions as required. Collaborate with inventory team to develop reports that can be used by the Production, Materials and Shipping & Receiving departments to monitor and control inventory.
