Job summary

Pure Flavor is seeking an Inventory Allocator to locate, evaluate, tag and stage product for shipping and fulfill customer orders. You will monitor inventory levels and product quality to meet specifications and liaise with shipping, production, and quality teams on inbound/outbound issues.

The role requires 1 year forklift and inventory/QA experience, GMP/food safety knowledge, and strong analytical and organizational skills.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education preferred.
  • Minimum one (1) year forklift experience required.
  • Minimum of one (1) year inventory management and/or quality assurance experience in the produce industry preferred.
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices, Health and Safety, Food Safety preferred.
  • Some computer knowledge required; Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), ERP software, FAMOUS® preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, time management and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Ability to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment; possess a strong attention to detail.
  • Steel-toed shoes are required.

Work Environment:

  • Hours of work may vary depending on business needs; flexibility is required
  • This job operates in a refrigerated warehouse, where temperatures range from 45-55°F. The noise level in the work environment can be loud due to packaging machinery, and forklift truck operation
  • Role frequently requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, use hands to handle or feel product or packaging, and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision capabilities and standing for long periods is required
  • The position requires the ability to regularly to lift 30-pounds, occasionally up to 50-pounds

Compensation & Benefits:
This position offers a salary range of $18-$19 CAD hourly, commensurate with experience, skills, and internal equity. In addition, Pure Flavor provides a competitive total rewards package that includes company-paid benefits, RRSP matching, and paid time off.
