Job summary

The University of Ottawa is seeking eight in-person Correctors for BIO 1531 at the Main Campus. Successful candidates will assist with preparation, correct student work, and support interactions with students from January through April 2027.

Applicants must have completed BIO1531 or equivalent, WHMIS and SST training, and demonstrate strong French language skills. Undergraduate rate is $32.39/hr, graduate rate $38.86/hr for 86 total hours; vacation pay not included.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of BIO1531 or course equivalent.
• WHMIS and Occupational Health and Safety workshops completed.
• Excellent written and spoken French.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of course materials and candidate support.
• Correction and grading of student submissions.
• In-person supervision and contact with students during sessions.
