The University of Ottawa is seeking part-time Correctors (CUPE) for the Department of Chemistry and Biomolecular Sciences at Main Campus. This role involves marking assignments and exams, providing student feedback, and proctoring the final exam in a bilingual environment.

Four positions are available for January 1, 2027 to April 30, 2027, with two pay rates depending on student level. Work is in person, with training in WHMIS and OH&S as required.

Qualifikationen

• Ph.D. or MSc candidate in chemistry or related field.
• Successful completion of BCH 4172 or BCH 4188 is a strong asset.
• Knowledge of molecular biology techniques including cloning, expression systems, vector design.
• Non-graduate candidates must write a qualification test.
• WHMIS and OH&S workshops mandatory.
• French reading ability is important.
