Job summary

Sensity is seeking a dedicated Intervenor to support individuals who are Deafblind in their home and community in Glenburnie, ON. This full-time role (36-40 hrs/week) involves assisting with communication, daily living skills, personal care, and community participation to promote independence.

The position requires a college diploma or related credential in Intervenor for Deafblind Persons or similar field, ASL/SEE, and a valid driver’s license. Competitive wage and benefit plan are provided.

Qualifications

• Completion of a college diploma or certificate in the Intervenor for Deafblind Persons program, or related human services field.
• Experience with deafblind or multiple disability populations is preferred.
• ASL or Signed Exact English communication is required.

Responsibilities

• Support daily living and communication for individuals who are deafblind.
• Assist with home and community activities to promote independence.
• Provide personal care and assist with goal development and program activities.
• Maintain documentation and records related to client progress.
