Job summary

Pratt & Whitney Canada in Halifax, Nova Scotia, invites engineering students for a January–April 2027 paid internship on-site. You will join the Continuous Improvement team to implement new technologies on the manufacturing floor, support capital equipment projects, and develop CAD layouts for equipment relocation.

Eligibility includes enrollment in a Canadian university throughout the internship, ability to work on-site, and pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical or industrial engineering.

What your day-to-day will look like:

• Work with the continuous improvement team to troubleshoot and implement new advanced technology solutions for the operations; manufacturing line

• Demonstrated understanding of Cad packages would be an asset.
• Ability to communicate and work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong Project Management Skills.

• Commitment to the application of new technologies, closed door and lean manufacturing principles.
• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical or industrial engineering.
