Job summary

Pratt & Whitney Canada in Longueuil is seeking an Internship in Supply Chain Management to support the indirect procurement team and business systems projects. You will participate in review sessions, test work instructions, keep intranet links current, and assist with data validation.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in Canada and enrolled at a Canadian university for the duration of the internship.
• On-site presence in Longueuil, five days a week.
• Pursuing a degree in Engineering, Administration, Finance, Operations Management or Computer Science.
• Excellent communication skills in French (spoken/written) with English for international interactions.
• Proficiency with Excel and Word; familiarity with Power BI, Ariba, SAP Hana or VMS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Participate or coordinate review and process improvement sessions prior to changes.
• Test, adjust, or create work instructions, forms, and process mapping.
• Keep documents and links up to date on the intranet site.
• Support data compliance validation activities.
• Participate in pre- and post-system implementation stages (Ariba, SAP Hana, VMS, ...).
• Support process maturity assessment and risk analysis.
• Collaborate with the team on ad hoc tasks.

The selected intern will support ongoing projects related to the improvement of business systems and processes used by the indirect procurement team. Our projects are varied and cover all procurement activities of a large enterprise. The complexity and progression of tasks are established based on the candidate's strengths, interests, field of study, and experience, as well as current priorities. We hold weekly follow-up meetings and offer a quality experience greatly appreciated by our interns for years.

What your daily work will look like

• Participate or coordinate review and process improvement sessions prior to changes.
• Test, adjust, or create work instructions, forms, and process mapping.
• Keep documents and links available on our intranet site up to date.
• Support data compliance validation activities.
• Participate in pre- and post-system implementation stages (Ariba, SAP Hana, VMS, ...).
• Support process maturity assessment and risk analysis.
• Work closely with the entire team on ad hoc tasks.

What you need to succeed

• Be eligible to work in Canada.
• Be enrolled in a Canadian university for the duration of your internship.
• Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired, if applicable.
• Degree in progress in Engineering, Administration, Finance, Operations Management, or Computer Science.

• Excellent communication skills in French (spoken/written).
• Problem-solving skills and continuous improvement aptitude.
• Office suite with an Intermediate-Advanced level in Excel and Word.
