Job summary

Veeda AI is seeking an intern to help build data tooling and visualization systems for AI research and data science teams. You will contribute to ETL pipelines, data lakes, and user-friendly frontend/backend dashboards to improve research and engineering efficiency.

You will join a small, fast-moving team and work in the same repositories and clusters as the rest of the staff. A tangible artifact will be delivered by the end of the internship, demonstrating the project you completed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent hands-on experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or you are currently working toward one.
• Strong object oriented programming language skills.
• Familiar with web application development.
• Strong sense of using AI as a productivity tool.

Responsibilities

• Develop use friendly frontend and backend systems for data visualization to increase efficiency for the data team and AI researchers
• Real Systems, Not a Sandbox: Work in the same repositories, on the same clusters, and against the same data as the rest of the technical staff, not a parallel toy version.
• A Deliverable That Outlives You: Ship one artifact the team keeps using — a software, or a tool — and write up what you found and what to try next.

Veeda AI is building the next generation of multimodal foundation world models for Physical AI. NICE TO HAVE

• You have built or maintained production-grade applications.
• You have worked with AWS, GCP or other popular cloud platform.
• You are familiar with CI/CD pipeline.
• You have self-directed projects, or competitive programming results that show how quickly you pick things up.
• You can work hybrid from Toronto for the duration of the internship.
