Job summary

Super is seeking a Full-Stack Engineer to build fintech, travel, and SuperApp features with React on the frontend and Python/Node.js on the backend. You will leverage AI in development workflows, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and own end-to-end delivery in a fast-paced startup environment.

You will work across technologies like React, Python, Node.js, GitLab, AWS, and modern databases, while participating in on-call rotations and influencing product direction.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.

Job description

• As a Full-Stack Engineer, you will be a key technical contributor on one of our teams, building across both frontend and backend web development. You will help deliver features for our fintech, travel, and/or SuperApp products, while also contributing to the services and frameworks that power those experiences
• You will primarily work with React on the frontend and Python and Node.js microservices on the backend, alongside technologies such as GitLab, AWS, Postgres, Redis, Datadog, Amplitude, and Snowflake
• You will operate in an AI-forward engineering environment where AI is a core part of how we design, build, and iterate on software. Engineers are expected to actively leverage AI in their development workflow and apply strong judgment when guiding, validating, and refining AI-assisted solutions
• This role reports to an Engineering Manager, Senior Manager, or Director. From the Intermediate Software Engineer level, there is opportunity to grow along the IC path into Senior and Staff Software Engineer roles, or toward Engineering Management
• Ship projects end-to-end in a fast-paced, iterative, AI-forward environment, using AI tools to accelerate development, debugging, and iteration while maintaining ownership of the solution
• Build and operate features and services across the stack, including deployment, monitoring, debugging, testing, and working with supporting data stores such as caches and databases
• Partner on cross-functional initiatives, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and contribute to shaping the roadmap for future team projects
• Work in a data-driven way and stay close to the customer, using experiments and measurement to inform what we build and improve
• See the direct impact of your work on the business and user experience in a company where engineering execution meaningfully moves key outcomes
• Share responsibility for the operational health of production services, including participation in an on-call rotation
• Note: On-call is a part of this role. Rotations are weekly and compensated for each rotation per the company’s on-call compensation policy. Participation may be voluntary or required depending on team and staffing needs
