Responsibilities

International Languages Program Instructor

Hours: Saturdays* 9:15 am – 12:15 p.m.

*Excluding holiday weekends and dates during board shutdown periods

Rate of Pay: $27.36 per hour

As an Instructor of the International Language Program, the candidate would provide instruction to students in both English and the language of delivery and would perform a variety of teaching duties including:

  • Curriculum planning based on Unit Themes
  • Classroom management
  • Completion of all organizational duties associated with teaching class (attendance, class registers, certificates, lesson preparation)
  • Supervision of students in classes and play areas
  • Cooperative and collaborative planning with the International Language staff
  • Ongoing communication with parents
  • Participation in cultural events as determined by the program

The successful candidate should have:
