Job summary

Wood Automotive Group is seeking an Internal Service Technician to join our team at the Taza Park Volkswagen dealership. You will recondition pre-owned vehicles and support in internal work, ensuring repairs meet estimates and quality standards.

This role requires a clean driving record and Alberta license; you will road test vehicles after service and help keep the shop organized while maintaining safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction across a growing local brand.

Qualifications

• Must have a clean driver's abstract.
• Valid Alberta driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Recondition pre-owned vehicles.
• Complete repairs as per estimates in a timely fashion.
• Road test vehicle after repairs to ensure quality.
• Maintain high workmanship quality for customer satisfaction.
• Maintain tools, equipment and shop.
• Diagnose problems using proper procedures.
• Clarify concerns with service advisor as required.
• Recommend additional repairs as needed.

The Wood Automotive Group is looking for an Internal Service Technician to join our team at the Taza Park Volkswagen dealership!

About the role: The Internal Service Technician will be responsible for all internal reconditioning of used vehicles, support in new sold internal work and overflow work from the general shop, as well.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

• Recondition pre-owned vehicles.
• Complete repairs as per estimates completed in a timely fashion.
• Road test vehicle after repairs are complete to ensure repairs are done properly.
• Maintain high quality of workmanship to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain tools, equipment and shop.
• Diagnose problems using proper procedures.
• Clarify concerns with service advisor as required.
• Recommend additional repairs as required.

Qualifications:

• A clean driver's abstract and valid AB drivers license
