Job summary

WELL Health Diagnostic Centres in Ontario seeks a licensed physician with Cardiology and Internal Medicine specialization to diagnose diseases, order laboratory tests and imaging, interpret results, and implement comprehensive treatment plans in collaboration with an interdisciplinary health team.

This permanent, full-time position offers 30–40 hours per week, opportunities for professional development, and relocation support where applicable, in a patient-centered setting focused on

Qualifications

• Medical degree and licensure required
• Specialization in Cardiology and Internal Medicine preferred
• Ability to work in an interdisciplinary health team
• Experience or exposure to diagnostic settings is an asset
• Relocation costs covered by employer (if applicable)

Responsibilities

• Diagnose diseases and physiological disorders
• Prescribe medication and treatment
• Treat diseases and physiological disorders
• Act as consultants to other physicians
• Order laboratory tests, X-rays and other diagnostic procedures
• Implement treatment plans
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary health team to plan, implement, co-ordinate and evaluate patient care with patients and families
• Provide lifestyle awareness information
• Participate in staff meetings
• Order medical diagnostic or clinical tests
• Interpret medical test results
• Examine the patient
