Job summary

WELL Health Diagnostic Centres in Calgary, Alberta, is seeking a physician with specialization in Cardiology or Internal Medicine to join our multidisciplinary team. You will diagnose, treat, and consult, orders tests, and participate in patient-centered care with a focus on outcomes.

Candidates must hold MD with Canadian licensure and Royal College certification; relocation support is provided. This permanent, English-language position offers 30–40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• MD degree with licensure in Canada
• Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Certification Examination
• Licensure by provincial authorities
• Experience an asset

Responsibilities

• Diagnose diseases and physiological disorders
• Prescribe medication and treatment
• Treat diseases and physiological disorders
• Act as consultants to other physicians
• Order laboratory tests, X-rays and other diagnostic procedures
• Implement treatment plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary health team to plan, implement, co-ordinate and evaluate patient care
• Provide lifestyle awareness information
• Participate in staff meetings
• Order medical diagnostic or clinical tests
• Interpret medical test results
• Examine the patient
