Job summary

Bombardier's Winter 2027 Software Developer Internship in St-Laurent, QC offers hands-on experience in building web-based applications within an agile team. You will contribute across the SDLC, implement features, and write tests in a collaborative environment.

Ideal candidates have completed at least one software internship, know Node.js/React/Python/SQL, and understand Agile practices. The program includes mentorship and a hybrid work setup.

Qualifications

• Completed at least one internship in software development.
• Knowledge of Node.js, React, Python and SQL.
• Understanding of Agile Software Development principles.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all aspects of agile software development, from implementation to deployment of web-based applications.
• Help in development of new features supporting evolving business needs.
• Participate in all phases of the SDLC from initiation to release and post-release support.
• Write clean and efficient code following best practices.
• Write and validate test procedures and unit tests.
• Communicate risks and issues to the delivery manager and propose mitigation plans.

What are your contributions to the team?

In your role, you will:

• Participate in all aspects of agile software development, from implementation to deployment of web-based applications.


• Help in development new features in support of evolving business and project requirements.


• Participate in all aspects of the SDLC from a project’s initiation to release and post-release support.


• Write clean & efficient code using best practices.


• Write and validate test procedures. Write unit tests.


• Communicate risks and issues to the delivery manager and propose potential mitigation plans.

How to thrive in this role?

• You possess knowledge of two or more of the following: Node.js, REACT, Python and SQL.


• You have completed at least one internship in software development.


• You have an understanding of an Agile Software Development environment.
