Job summary

Bombardier Transportation GmbH in Dorval, QC is offering an 8-month internship for a Quality - Web Developer. You will participate in design, development, and documentation of web applications, and assist with data processing and tool deployment.

You will collaborate with users and the team to understand business needs, learning front-end (HTML, CSS, JS, TS, React) and back-end (C#, .NET, SQL Server) technologies, while contributing to testing and quality assurance in a hybrid work setup.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a college or university program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong interest in web application development and maintenance.
• Knowledge of front-end: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React; back-end: C#, .NET or .NET Core, relational databases.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the design, development, and documentation of web applications.
• Contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of existing applications (web and desktop).
• Collaborate with users and team members to understand business needs and help develop appropriate solutions.
• Assist in the extraction, import, processing, and documentation of data.
• Support the team in the development, testing, and deployment of new tools and features.
• Contribute to the team's continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in providing technical support to system users and help resolve application issues.
• Perform testing activities and help ensure the quality of developed solutions.

• You have a strong interest in web application development and maintenance.
• You possess basic knowledge of web development technologies:
• o Front-end: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, or similar technologies.
• o Back-end: C#, .NET or .NET Core, and relational databases (SQL Server or equivalent).
• You are eager to learn new programming languages, tools, and technologies.
• You have strong analytical skills and a focus on delivering high-quality results.
• You are recognized as a team player who is curious, open to learning, and enjoys collaborating with others.
• You demonstrate initiative, autonomy, and attention to detail in the execution of your tasks.
• Knowledge of SharePoint, Microsoft Power Platform, or Azure services is considered an asset.
