Job summary

Bombardier in St-Laurent, QC is offering an internship in Research & Technology Aircraft Systems Management. The role focuses on conceptual design studies, preliminary sizing, and MBSE modeling to explore novel aircraft systems.

• Bilingual engineering student with an interest and experience in aircraft systems.
• Solid foundation in systems engineering, fluid mechanics and thermodynamics.
• Familiar with Office 365, PLM like Teamcenter and MBSE tools such as Capella.

Responsibilities

• Participate in conceptual design aircraft studies.
• Support preliminary system sizing activities.
• Contribute to Systems R&T projects developing novel technologies.
• Support system integration studies within the aircraft context.
• Engage in trade studies to identify best aircraft-level solutions.
• Interface with multiple disciplines and develop MBSE system architectures.
• Assist requirements capture from aircraft to system level, including validation.
• Utilize PLM tools and document and present results.

What are your contributions to the team?

• Participate in performing conceptual design aircraft studies
• Support and perform preliminary System sizing activities
• Participate in Systems R&T projects developing novel technologies
• Support novel Systems integration studies within the aircraft context
• Be involved in trade studies to identify most beneficial solutions at aircraft level
• Interface with other systems, structures, technical disciplines.
• Develop MBSE models for System Architectures
• Support requirements capturing from aircraft level to systems level, including validation activities.
• Utilize the PLM tools and processes
• Document and present the work and results

How to thrive in this role?

• You are a bilingual engineering student with an interest and experience in aircraft systems
• You are experienced in Systems Engineering, with good knowledge in fluid mechanics and thermodynamics
• You are experienced in Office 365 applications, preferably also in PLM applications such as Team Center and MBSE tools such as Capella
