Job summary

Bombardier is seeking an Intern in Project Management - Production Support for Winter 2027 at our Pointe-Claire, QC site. The role focuses on supporting tooling management deployments, evaluating optimization opportunities, and contributing to continuous improvement across operations.

You will collaborate with Production, Warehouse, Methods, Industrial Engineering, and Quality teams, bringing initiative, teamwork, and strong French/English communication.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in project management, operations management, industrial engineering, or similar.
• Have completed at least one year in the program.
• Strong command of Office (PowerPoint, Excel).
• Fluent communication in French and English and ability to work with colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Support the deployment of a tooling management project.
• Evaluate and propose optimization opportunities within the project.
• Participate in and manage continuous improvement initiatives in operations.
• Contribute to project strategy (content, scope, resources, deadlines, costs, risks, quality, communications, training).
• Manage change requests within projects.
• Participate in problem resolution and remediation plans to meet deadlines.
• Propose performance indicators based on internal processes and progress.
• Interact with multi-functional teams (Production, Warehouse, Methods, Industrial Engineering, Quality).

• Support the deployment of a tooling management project;
• Evaluate and propose optimization and standardization opportunities within the assigned project;
• Evaluate, participate in and manage continuous improvement initiatives in various areas of operations;
• Contribute to the strategy for carrying out these projects: content, scope, resources, deadlines, costs, risks, quality management, communications and training;
• Manage change requests within projects;
• Participate in problem resolution and remediation plans when necessary to meet deadlines for key deliverables;
• Propose performance indicators based on internal processes and project progress;
• Interact with several multi-functional teams (Production, Warehouse, Methods, Industrial Engineering, Quality).

How to thrive in this role?

• You are currently studying for a bachelor's degree in project management, operations management, industrial engineering, or similar;
• You have completed a minimum of one year in the program;
• You have a good knowledge of the Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel);
• You have a sense of initiative and enjoy working both as part of a team and more independently;
• You are a good communicator (in French and English) and interact well with colleagues;
• You have a real desire to carry out a project in its entirety, experimenting at every stage.
