Job summary

Bombardier Transportation GmbH in Mississauga, ON, Canada, invites enrolled engineering students (3rd or 4th year) to join the Winter 2027 Internship with the Operations Council. You will develop skills with Microsoft Office, learn aircraft management software, and gain exposure to scripting languages like Python and SQL while contributing to data-driven process optimization.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in the 3rd or 4th year of an undergraduate engineering program.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills are essential.
  • Interest in data-driven analytics and scripting languages (Python/SQL).
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication.

Responsibilities

  • Develop skills with Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Gain exposure to MES/NCMS and aircraft management tools.
  • Attend leadership meetings and learn strategic planning and governance.
  • Help with project management, cross-functional communication, and collaboration.
  • Explore continuous improvement and smart factory initiatives.
  • Create business cases and support aircraft operations research projects.

  • You are currently enrolled in the 3rd or 4th year of an undergraduate university program in an Engineering or related discipline.
  • You bring strong experience with the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

  • You are detail-oriented, professional, and able to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting.
  • You possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills with fluency in written and spoken English.

It is important to note that our internship opportunities are open to students only, not new graduates. The base salary for this position is expected to range from CAD $17.95 to CAD $31.00 per hour. The applicable base salary will be determined based on various criteria, at Bombardier’s sole discretion, such as the candidate’s skills, experience and qualifications. All our interns may be required to occasionally travel outside of Canada for training/work purpose.
