Job summary

Bombardier is offering a 12‑month internship in Mississauga for students in aerospace, mechanical, electrical, computer or software engineering. Base pay CAD 17.95–31.00 per hour, hybrid workplace, occasional travel.

You’ll support Systems Engineering in investigating issues and governance, manage databases, track KPIs, facilitate meetings, and prepare presentations while building relations across departments. Proficiency in MS Office, PowerBI, Excel, CATIA V5, MATLAB, Python is preferred.

Qualifications

• Student in aerospace, mechanical, electrical, computer, or software engineering.
• Good oral and technical communication skills in English; French is an asset.
• Proficient with MS Office; PowerBI and Excel.
• Working knowledge of CATIA V5, MATLAB, Python or SciLab.
• Able to work independently with initiative.

How to thrive in this role?

You are a student in aerospace, mechanical, electrical, computer or software engineering;
You have good oral and technical communication skills in English (French is an asset);

You possess working knowledge of CATIA V5; MATLAB; Python or SciLab scripts;
You possess good interpersonal skills in order to work well with the team and other groups;
You are able to work well independently and demonstrate drive and initiative to achieve the goals established;
You have previous work experience or have completed an internship;
Occassional support outside of normal working hours.

It is important to note that our internship opportunities are open to students only, not new graduates. The base salary for this position is expected to range from CAD $17.95 to CAD $31.00 per hour. The applicable base salary will be determined based on various criteria, at Bombardier’s sole discretion, such as the candidate’s skills, experience and qualifications. All our interns may be required to occasionally travel outside of Canada for training/work purpose.
