Job summary

Bombardier in Canada is seeking a PLM internship (8 months) to join our engineering team. You will collaborate with the PLM team, Siemens and business stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities and contribute to the development of new processes and tools within the Teamcenter environment and NX.

We look for 2nd–4th year or master’s students who are curious, organized and eager to learn. A good knowledge of Office and SharePoint is a plus, and you should enjoy working in a hybrid,

Qualifications

• Currently a 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year university or master's student.
• Curious and eager to explore engineering disciplines.
• Interested in PLM, NX, and collaborative work environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; SharePoint is a plus.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with PLM team, Siemens and stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities and contribute to the development of new processes and tools within the Teamcenter environment and NX.
• Support internal tasks, initiatives, and projects.
• Design and optimize engineering processes for new products including: analyzing data, mapping existing processes, identifying workflow inefficiencies and proposing improvements or automation opportunities, developing and delivering training materials for new PLM software (Teamcenter/NX) and processes
• Test, evaluate, and integrate next-generation PLM technologies and toolsets to enhance product development processes.
• Assist in the transition and integration of PLM and CAD systems (e.g., Teamcenter, NX) and support training for new users
• Participate in project management Including: Coordinating project tasks, Planning and liaising between multidisciplinary teams.
